3870 x2 not playing sum game video

hi

i just got my self an x2 last week and tryed to run crysis and it game will run fine full spec but some of the video wont play right for example the splash screens at the start of the game.

i am worred that this will happen in other games and cost me the cut seens is this due to drivers and is there anything i can do to fix it.

I get the same

you can get the splash screens to work by either

(1) in DX10 mode (default) press alt-enter - to go windowed mode (disables crossfire),then alt-enter when back to menus

(2) load Crysis up in DX9 mode (Crysis.exe -dx9)

its a bug in crysis with crossfire, the only way to fix it is to use DX9, it will still work as it should once in game tho.

is there much of a diffence to game play if i change to dx9 or should i stay in dx10 as i am lovin high spec at the mo

dx10 only really comes to play in the gam e when setting are all on veryhigh, even then perosnally the difference between high and very high is not worth the proformance hit.

DX10 is far smoother on the 3870x2 than DX9 mode

I'm running DX10- most things on very high ... apart from shadows = low, and shaders = medium

I average about 30fps @ 1900x1200

the new ATI drivers really help with DX10 and bring its performance past DX9 and the 8800 cards, my 3870 XT runs crysis very high smoothly, altho i need post processing on medium

I've got poor DX10 performance, i stuck everything to very high and had a quick go and my fps ranged from about 10-20. DX9 seems to fly along though apart from the pretty bad input lag i am getting.

yer i can have it run very high untill i get a very big open space then get a little lag but still plays ok.

but running at high now as its smother i carnt wait for next set of drivers to help get it running
