3870 X2 - strange flickering

Been having some problems when i open any sort of demanding application, such as 3dmark06, CoD4, Crysis (any sort of game really). When it loads up, i get grey stripes that run down the screen, like you might see when the tv isn't tuned in properly.

My 3dmark06 score is around 15,000 at default settings, and i can play crysis all high @ 1900X1200 np, bar the dodgy flickery stripes of doom

Anyone know what may be causing this ?

Are You saying the Problems are only in DOOM?

I've got the same thing in some games, its becuase of the colour settings in the CCC. When you change the colours of your desktop it tries to set them in games aswell but if the game tries to override it it ends up flickering like mad. I'm not sure if there is a solution.

I find if i change the resolution in game it totally goes away, then if i close and reopen it comes back. Also if i alt tab it comes back.

well i have changed just about every setting in CCC and the in game menu and no luck

Have you unticked alternate DVI frequency (in display panel) ?
