I cant seem to find any reviews of the ATI 3870 X2 512mb card, i only see benches etc for the 1gb card. Any one know where i could find some?:D

I didnt know the X2 came in the 512MB flavour, and that it is says 1GB, but that is shared 512MB per core.

Correct if wrong though :)

There are some 512mb x2 cards out there around £150, im tempted but want to see some reviews compared to the 1gb version, quad for £300 is a little tempting

As the guy above said, theyre all 1GB cards (512MB x2) as far as i know.

Really? You dont mean the Sapphire one that looks to be a misprint for a Toxic 3870 (as thats what the product code is, even though it states 3870x2).

whats the point in quad 256 gpu's when u could have dual 512 gpu's for less money on a single card?

doesnt really make sense to me

hmm 256mb? 2x 2hd3870x2+1gig lol still dont add up

well if the 3870x2 512 has 2 gpus they must be 256mb each, so there are 2x3870 256gpu cores on a single card..

you may aswell go with the 3870x2 1gb with 2x3720 512gpus on a single card as its more performance and best bang for buck i think with the option of quad crossfire

Google: 3870 x2 512mb and you'll find some

Its true they dont exist, and it doesnt make any sense to tie that to a 3870, 256x2 mb of GDDR3 might work on a '3850X2' prices @ £150 but then again this X2 series is top end.

512mb OR 1gb. I guess it's not a misprint.

pmsl, 256mb crossfire, what a waste of time, memory limited or what, get that and get your details turned down, and your resolutions, and you can forget about AA, what a pile of *****. :D:D
