3870X2 clocking issues.

For some reason, my GPU is clocked to only 300 Mhz... I try telling it to clock it up in overdrive but it sticks at 300... I've got the 8 pin and 6 pin connectors in, 8.2 catalyst doesn't help either... what should I do?
 
That's cos it's in 2d mode..give it some 3d work and it'll go straight up to the settings you've put on.

That's a special feature of the cards..they go into power saving 2d mode when you're on the desktop. :D
