ATI 3870X2 Crossfire Profile's
A quick question about ATI's 3870X2 ... Does it use crossfire profiles to utilise the two GPU's on the PCB , simular to what the 7950GX2 did using SLI profile's to run both the GPU's.
The reason i wonder is that the nvidia's x2 cards use two PCB's so in effect it's still two cards hence the SLI profile is required to use both cards.. However with the ATI 3870X2 as we know is 2 GPUS on one PCB which is what made me wonder if it did not require crossfire profile's as it's still actually one card...
