3870x2 fit into any shuttle?

i'd really like a ssf gaming rig, so have a few ideas floating about. i was thinking why get a shuttle for £300 when i could build one with for example v350/sg, board and proper atx psu, and that would cost a lot less.
why pay so much for a shuttle? thoughts welcome
