FYI, OP.
Don't expect a big cooling effect on the 3900X. Due to the design and density, the issue is getting the the heat out of the chipsets themselves.
Just a heads up to help your expectations.
I know. Too be honest - it's mainly for aesthetics with the hope it might give me a little more head room at least. I do think it'd benefit the 2080Ti a lot more than the 3900X.
I've now built the system. It'll be a few weeks before I jump on the water-cooling. I may end up getting another monitor first too.
