3900xt and x570

just upgraded pc to a ryzen 3900xt with a gigabyte aurus master x570.
Needing help enable precision boost but when i run cinebench r20 clock speeds never go above 3.8gig
any ideas.
all latest bios f20b
all latest drivers
high performance ryzen window 10 power settings.

What cooler are you using and what are your temps like?

Best case scenario on stock pbo settings is usually 4.1ghz all core in cinebench with a good cooler. But with a stock or not so great cooler or bad airflow it will be lower.

I hope you’re not expecting 4.7 when all cores are stressing. Won’t happen. The CPU would melt.

cooler is corsair 115 platinum temps 56 degrees when running cine r20 all cores 3.8

Just noticed they changed bios on gigabyte site from F20b to F20 and I swear it was still showing F20b this morning.
Flashed bios to F20.
Set bios to optimal defaults.
Ran cine r20
Hey presto hitting 4.7 gb with 1.3v cpu.
