hello all i feel as if i know you all already.ive been doing a lot of fantasy wallet empying viewing the forum for a while now.i have a x2 4800 with a 8800 gtx running a24 inch screen with 2 giggs of ddr 3200 on vista 32.i am thinking of getting a q6600 and an x38 board +4 gigg of ram and going over to 64 bit vista.i shall keep the 8800 gtx untill the next gen of gpus.will i see much improvment in changing over set ups.

i suppose it depends on how much you want to increase your 3dmark score 
might be worth having a quad in the future but i'd wait for next gen quads in that case...unless of course you are video editing
cant see much dif in games...loading times might be a fraction quicker. i'd get overclocking your CPU...you already have a killer machine, cant see the point in upgrading

i have been able to get the cpu to 2.6 do you think it can go anymore i seem to remember reading the 939 x2 4800 didnt oc that well.the main use for the pc is games and i noticed a bit of a slow down in going from xp to vista.is it worth getting another 2 gigg of ddr 3200 and vista 64 bit for the x2 4800.thanks for all your help.
