That style of block looks better when fitted, might go for that one :)

Appreciate the photo's, looks very nice

Apparently that heatsink to the left of the Ram served no purpose,
according to most of the reviews I read

Make sure you cool the back of the VRM/MOSFET heatsink. Quite an annoying issue with the Sabertooth and RIVE. I glued a heatsink to the back of mine using AS Epoxy stuff.

So even after fitting a mobo waterblock,
the back of the mofsets is still going to need cooling?

Do you mean the plate on the back of the board that retains the VRM/MOFSET heatsink or the heatsink itself ?

I've got the Koolance blocks fitted on my RIVE and it retains the plate/thermal pads on the back of the board behind the VRM/MOFSETS so wondered if that's what you are cooling.

I thought that plate is what cooled the back of the mofsets

I like it when the courier is on time :D

Just waiting on a few more bits and bobs from OCUK.

Backplates are on their way from Germany. :)

I thought ppl were joking when they said that the
blocks are heavy, these are heavy

They looked good in the pictures and they look good in the flesh :D

I bought a 1mm thermal pad strip after reading what Rossi(top man) said,
just to make sure

Just about to strip the mobo apart and put the block on,
amazing how all of a sudden I've got the shakes

My PSU is a long bugger, had to bend some bits to get it and the
radiator to fit along the bottom and have room for the cables.

Great idea to cool the mobo, but its a right pain routing to the tubes
and to prevent them from kinking.

It's a good job I'm not in a rush as I've had the tubes in and out
so many times.

As the saying goes Rome wasn't built in a day. :)

Looks stunning!! You should think about getting the memory under water too ;)

cheers mate,

Don't think there's any room for more tubes :D

Maybe next year on a new build

Just wish the back plates would turn up, should have been here today :(
