Im at work and it is a quiet night so browsing and found this section, I haven't been into the CPU section for a year since buying my 3930K, but the 8 pack section and instructions have made think maybe I should give this a go.
So far Im happy at stock, but that is no reason not to push it a little bit :p
I understand that with 32GB of RAM, my o/c will be less than some, but Im going to give this a go when I get in tomorrow and see how it goes - will report back..

Have a go man. That combination is great fun to clock and so many settings to test. You need help post back!!

Glad I took up Intel's insurance last year as the cpu is dead.
Have tried it in another board and it is definitely dead.
Have reset the R4E, no difference, changed RAM, but no difference and based on being able to put it in a known working mobo and still not get anything, it must be the cpu as the cpu from the other board doesn't work in mine.
Not even sure what I did as it all seemed to be going well.

hmmmm this is strange. What voltages where you pushing??? llc on RIVE is best around medium 24/7. What VTT and VCCSA did u use????
