3d bafflement :S

In february i built my first (built) computer and was surprised it actually worked. It took me a year of constant saving to afford it.

I currently have a 4870HD oc'd edition, which does the job as i play on my 1360/768 sony bravia 32". Qeustion is, do i need an nvidia gpu for the 3d tv and glasses to work? will i need a new gpu? Will i need a new PSU ( my current is 580w)?

As you can see i'm still a noob at computer hardware but tha's because i only play computer games about 3 times a week but i really fell in love with a 3d film i saw in a museum thingy.

btw my cpu is a e8400 its not oc'd as i dn't know how

as far as i know samsung are the only ones do the 120hz tv that support the 3d glasses?
and yes only nvidea do it the 3d thing.
and upgrading the psu is not necessary depending on what card you get.

What make and model PSU is it? The wattage means very little. A good quality 450w will outdo a poor 600w model.
