Hi all,

My media center pc is really struggling with playing back an Panasonic iso of avatar 3d, its slow and stutters.

I have a celeron E3300 @ 2.5ghzx with 2 gig of ram and a amd 6450 on windows 7 32 bit hooked up through hdmi to my marantz nr1601 thru to my samsung d6900 through hdmi.

I have tried Arcsoft total media theatre and power dvd.

Any ideas would be appreciated?

I think that may be your problem.

How does it cope with other large 1080p video files? I am no expert but I should imagine that the 3D 1080p avatar file is quite large so while the film is playing then your pc is trying to 'decode' (or whatever the term is) a lot of information.

Would a 3D 1080p film mean your pc is basically trying to play 2 x 1080p films side by side at the same time?. If so I think your low spec pc may struggle.
