3d desktop

Evenin folks just a quick one. out of curiosity really. i have a 3d tv and was just wondering if there are programs or software that makes your desktop 3d. im currently using 2d to 3d converter on my tv which looks great and certainly adds depth but id like something with abit of pop. my gpu is a 6950 2gb and is 3d capable. any thought folks?

I used Tri Def and iZ3d but they will only convert fullscreen images to 3d (iZ3D is crap btw) but in all honesty im having major screen tearing issues after i installed these drivers id stay clear and just use the built in 3d features on certain games i.e Deus Ex, Sonic Generations, Crysis 2 etc
