3D Dot Game Heroes

I've had my eye on this game for a while, love the look of it but only played the first ten minutes.

After four people had asked me for a copy on release day I had to send off an email at work to actually get stock of the game though. We weren't sent any at all and i work for one of the large UK high street games stores. I hope it doesn't stop it selling decently, would be a shame.
 
I really liked it.

It's typical old school Zelda, warts and all, but that's why I liked it so much.
 
Just got this through the post now. Was an impulse buy after reading the GAMEStm review.

Loved the Zelda games, though only really joined them at 'A Link to the Past'.

Hope I like this. Will report here my thoughts for what they are worth later. If anyone wants to listen that is......:rolleyes:

Played this game for a bit, yes it was ok but the dungeons are nothing compared to zelda. I ended up getting bored after a week and selling it
 
This is pretty much all I am playing at the moment and I love it. did the 3rd temple in the desert last night and was really the first one to challenge me.

Don't know why the poster above got stuck in the desert - was easy. No stamina I guess :rolleyes:
 
Water temple done. Was quite hard but actually thought that it was more intuitive than the desert temple.

Really love this game. So calming to play after the stress that is Starcraft.:p
 
sorry to bump an old thread but since i first saw a gameplay video of this it took my attention but it seems everytime i go to pickup a new game i seem to pass it by, until yesterday (i picked up dead rising 2 and love it but its a great game to have in a collection but is more of an hour or 2 at a time game not one to sit on for a night)

anyway after modifying a character, nothing too big just changed the colour and made it so his eyes flash red when he attack, i decided to give it a go and i was almost instantly hooked, its so simple but fun at the same time and the one hit you loose your super sword is frustrating but makes you think instead of just charging in.

only just completed the second dungeon but im hoping they take longer from then on as im sure there is only 6 and being 33% of the way through after one night is bad for most modern games... especially an rpg. (although from some of the NPCs there are games/side missions you unlock during the playthrough which should add to the fun)
