Well i did a reinstall other day and just in time the new nvidia drivers came out just before i was about to install on a new boot HDD.
Anyway i did all the install got it all working new updated nvidia drivers, great ran the 3D setup wizard, btw i have a asus vg278H + glasses so running most days in 3D. Have trouble getting the emitter to switch on in games when the game is in 3D mode crtl + t didn't help.
I know the emitter and the card and glasses work fine because i've been running 296.10 for some months now.
Just cannot get the 306.23 drivers working, i reboot windows run 3D setup wizard, play the odd game like burnout. Come back later and the 3D emitter does not switch on when i jump back into burnout. So i've uninstalled 306.23 and gone back to 296.10 drivers all working now.
Anyone got some thoughts on this, how to get 306.23 working.
oh my card is a nvidia 570

I discussed the issue a bit here:
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=22740081&postcount=3

For me it varies from game to game, some I can trigger by changing the graphics settings through toggling fullscreen / windowed mode (either with an alt tab, or with the options menu itself). Others I've done things like toggle the in game anti-aliasing settings off and on again.

I had reported the bug ever since the 30x drivers were released and been through 3 updates on my bug report now saying how they differ (for better or worse) with each release but no great attempt at any fixes yet. It also doesn't help with nvidia's forums being down at the moment due to account hacks that occurred a few months ago.

No problems ever here with that monitor. I am running the 304.79 drivers and have run the latest WHQL with no probs either (only rolled back because of a crash which was my EVGA getting too hot with it's overclock).

Try ununstalling and reinstalling and I have the enable and disable 3D option pinned to my start memu. Makes for easy switching from 3D and non 3D without having to use the CTRL + T combination.

well i uninstalled 296.10 yesterday tried the 306.23 again it worked for 1 day tried to run burnout in 3D the emitter would not switch on in game so gone back to 296.10.
I'm downloading 304.79 beta see if they work any better will try them tomorrow maybe.

Gave 304.79 beta drivers a go works fine all yesterday come to try them out after a boot up this morning no 3D emitter switch on. So looks like i will have to go back to 296.10 drivers.

If they were working and no longer do work, I would be inclined to think something else is happening. Have you tried rerunning the setup for 3D again? I do remember once having an issue but after I reran the setup, all was good. Are you playing in full screen? If I don't, the 3D will not work.

I have no problem with 296.10 drivers so it as to be the new ones, yes i have ran the setup when the drivers stop working, it still refuse to switch emitter on, but if i reboot and run the setup wizard then it starts working again. I have no other option to go back to running 296.10 if i want the 3D emitter working, all the time.

Very strange. Mine is sweet but sometimes requires me to log off after playing, as the emitter stays on. That has been the case with all drivers though and easy sorted by a quick log off and on.

I've done clean installs of the drivers in addition to my regular 'preserve settings' types, even though I figured that would be moot since any driver upgrade path they offer wipes out your 3dvision configuration either way.

Likewise, going back to 296.10 was the only surefire way to sort it out. It's not that the game doesn't go into stereo3d mode - it does, but the emitter doesn't activate so you're just faced with the double-vision as if your glasses' battery was dead and not working.

My compromises work with me in the beta driver version though.
