3d gameing

It would probably be a good idea to try out a 3D gaming system to see how you find it yourself - different people find it affects them in different ways.

Some people find it excellent and try and use it as much as possible, many use it a bit and find it to be good in certain games, while some others really don't like it.

There are also a significant proportion of people who really don't get along with the 3D effect, either they can't see it correctly or it gives them headaches after a relatively short time.

Many high-street shops now offer demonstration units where they run PS3s running games in 3D mode on a 3DTV. Its not exactly the same as the way it is done on the PC (and ofcourse the monitor is smaller and you are sitting closer to it) but it gives you a good idea of how you find the 3D effect and whether you want to spend your money on it (at least £290 for a 23in 3D monitor + Nvidia 3D kit).
