well, I have the whole 3D setup here and played a good few games with it. For the first few times I tried it I thought it was pretty amazing. But after a few days it lost it's wow factor and really became more of a pain in the ass to use.
I don't use 3D at all now. My view on it, 3D isn't there yet. It's getting better but it's still not right.
Saying all that, I think you should get a 3D monitor, not for the 3D but for the 120hz because that will make your FPS gaming experience much better.

Did it change the playability of the game? And would you consider donning on your 3D specs for the much hyped BF4?

That's a good monitor, you should consider the benq xt2411t as well.
Yeap you have my impressions summed up perfectly. MY 3D glasses are gathering dust.
3D was best in games like Skyrim and Guildwars 2. While it looked good in first person shooters I wouldn't recommend it if you want to play well. And no, I wouldn't consider going back to 3D for BF4.
