3D Graphics card

Guys ,

I will be starting a new project soon , but i have been away from the game for over a year , so i am now well out of date , i`m after a card with 3D capabilities , So.... Have ATI done something with 3D yet? as i am not a big fan of Nvidia,

From my experiences with AMD 3D, it is really disappointing. Go for Nvidia if you want 3D
