I'm looking for some advice regarding high resolution monitors for desktop workstations with the following spec

Intel Xeon E5-4640
128gb RAM
Dual Nvidia M4000
Currently running Windows 7 but will go to Windows 10 in the future

The workstations process massive amounts of data in the 50-250gb range per file

I'm looking for two 3D monitors for biological image analysis around £3000 total

Any suggestions?

What do you mean by 3D monitors? Capable of rendering 3d images that require the use of glasses to view the results?

If so, the the highest res for those monitors is going to be 1080p. I think the swift (2560x1440) was originally meant to support nvidia 3d vision, but that got canned iirc.

No.

The TN ROG Swift and the Dell S2716DG support Nvidia 3D Vision at 1440p, the first officially, the second unofficially.

Yes capable of rendering 3d images using Nvidia 3d Vision 2 glasses, I've been looking around and it seems the Asus VG278H was recommended but this seems to be discontinued now
