3d mark 05 score

I've just run 3d Mark 05 on a new system with the following specs:

Asus P5LD2 SE motherboard
Core 2 Duo 1.80 Ghz processor
2gb (2x1gb) Kingston memory
7300GT 256mb graphics card
Seagate 250gb SATA drive


The score was 3014 - does that look about right?

If its the DDR3 version it looks a little low, if not then its fine

Should be about right. My DDR3 version in single-card mode gets about 4500, SLI nearer 8500 (not overclocked). It's a surprisingly large difference.

Looks low indeed, i scored 200 more with my old 6600GT, and now 5100 with my 6800GS...

but also which 3DM05 1.02? or older...i think 1.02 got some lower results then 1.0
and try to @CPU it will gave nice boost (maybe not few 1000 but always, especially that is C2D)

hmm was that with the same or similar spec to the rest of my pc?

Any reasons why mine's a lower score?
I was running it in 1024x768 resolution I think if that makes a difference

but also which 3DM05 1.02? or older...i think 1.02 got some lower results then 1.0
and try to @CPU it will gave nice boost (maybe not few 1000 but always, especially that is C2D)

it means to get more power from CPU, overclock , more Mhz then intel gave You in the box
C2D tend to go much faster then stock(standart) speed
You can easy get 2.6Ghz from this CPU

6600GT is a much better card tho. Twice the pipes and DDR3 RAM for starters

I was referring to the DDR2 version. i know the DDR3 version is faster - i had 2 of them in SLI
