3d Mark 06

Hi all,

Any idea why I only get about 1fps on the cpu test section of 3d mark 06? My cpu is a q6600.

Yeah thats quite normal I think, because it offloads most of the work on the CPU rather than the GPU.

Thats correct as its only using your CPU as said above, everyone gets about 1fps on the CPU tests.

06 isn't quad core optimised either is it ?

I have q6600 and didnt even get 1fps! was close though, about 0.9

My guess is its designed to test future cpus, though i cant wait to witness the speed of a cpu that would give 30fps+ on that test!

Also wondering if it tests multiple cores, maybe dual cores only get 0.5fps...

my single core pentium m @ 2.6ghz....
