hi guys
im in the process of downloading 3D mark 06 what i would like to know is does anyone know the aprox score i should get on my rig??
specs as follows:-
amd athlon 64 3700 san diego core @2.2 ghz
1.5 gig of samsung ddr400
msi k8t neo2 v2
nvidia 7300 gt 512mb, agp 8x
seagate 160 gb hdd

any help would be welcome

I got 2101 with my 7300 GT overclocked to 555/373
Core 2 Duo at 2.4GHz and 2 gigs of ram.

I would expect perhaps 75% of that given your smaller ram and slower (single core ) chip

well the first score was 1335 then i changed the res to 800x 600 and score was 2020.
is that any good??

Suppsed to test it at 1024x768, default settings.
3D Mark 06 supports dual core so you'll get much lower result on a single core. And you GPU isn't exactly high end.

I got my score at the default settings.

I found it enough to play Crysis at Low 1440x900 and ETQW at medium 1440x900... you are just below that.

You should try overclocking your GT, I basically doubled my clock speed without cooling.

you have to do it each time

but it is completely safe
