Hello,

After overclocking my CPU to 4.5 Ghz and my MSI geforce 570 PE to 800 core clock and 1600 shader clock.

Then I thought I would go and test it- So I ran 3d Mark 11.

I got a score of P5322 which is allot lower than the top score on the futurmark website with the same specs as mine and they didnt have the system overclocked.

Any idea why this can be?

It doesn't say your CPU is overclocked to 4.5 on there. Are you sure the overclock was applied? Also if I recall the value they expect from the i5 2500k is really high on 3D mark, I had the same thing when I benchmarked mine at 4.4, it said my CPU was fairly substantially below the average.

it could be that one or both of your overclocks are unstable, I know from personal experience it is possible to overclock a GPU so it seems stable (no artifacting) but gives a significantly lower score, try with a non overclocked system.

hope it goes well

Ok all that I can figure out is that the futurmark 11 is not showing the overclocks correctly- so the one of the score that is much higher must be running on water with much higher clocks.

(OK that didnt make any sense) ignore.
