3D Mark 2006 Score

Haven't used this system in a while , got it all up and running again and just ran 3D Mark 2006, got a score of 9441, is this about right for this spec :

DS3P
E6300 @ 2.8Ghz
8800 GTS 320mb @ stock
2Gb Gskill PC6400@ 800/4-4-4-12

Two more cores, overclocked higher (800Mhz), more RAM and a faster graphics card. Of course you will have scored higher . What was the reason of posting your scores when you do not have a comparable system?. Pointless post and no help at all except for your own eyes when you look at this thread again and see your wonderful scores .

Sorry for jumping on your back for this but the only 3dmark score relevant is someone having the same card with around the same CPU speed with two cores to compare. Your comparison is just useless and that's why I think you've done it to gloat as I see no other reason for you posting your scores.

Clearly just trying show that with a bit of overclocking, your score can substantially increases.

I was a bit over the top there. I had two or three hours sleep and woke up knackered and annoyed.

its ok, i was mainly trying to point out increase through OC'ing like happy said.

and that his score now is getting close my stock so i think its ok, considering quad scores real high on 3dmark06.

sometimes i cant be bothered to type out long explanations and hope people figure it out.
