here are my spec's, everything else except the cpu is stock,

CPU: AMD 3800+ X2 2.0Ghz @ 2.4Ghz 1.375v
Motherboard: Asus A8R32-MVP
Memory: 2GB Geil PC3200
GPU: Sapphire X1900 XT
Heatsink/Fan: Arctic Cooling Freezer 64

3d Mark 03 - 16619
3d Mark 05 - 10509,

just about to run 06 will update, lmk if this is about right or im totally way out :)

Hmmm I would possibly say they are a tad low but nothing to worry about. I was scoring into the high 11.5k's with a stock X1900XT and my X2 3800+ @ 2.6ghz.

12.6k is the highest I have got so far with my cpu @ 2.7ghz and the X1900XT @ just above XTX clocks.

12599

All done on Omega Cat 6.5's

Possibly fiddle with the quality settings. Set they to optimal performance and run it again.

My 06 score is 6356

yea ill have to have a fiddle with the settings as i never bothered i just ran it could maybe get a few hundred or so more points?

Yeah fiddle a bit will net you a nice little gain (probably up to about 300 points) however I went from 12.1k to 12.6k with just a 100mhz boost on my cpu.

Might be worth trying to get your cpu to say 2.6ghz.

yea but would it really be worth it i mean how much of a gain am i really going to see in games?

Not much in games tbh unless you run a low resolution (which I doubt you are going to)

TBH I don't overclock my gpu for games as I don't need to. I only done it to see what scores I could get. My cpu however is running 2.6ghz 24/7 (when its on).

so you think i should just stick at 2.4, i only bumped it up to this as i think 2.0ghz is just to low for a high powered card like the 1900xt

right after a bit of tweaking, i now have all my scores,

01 : 27623

03 : 17354

05 : 10602

06 : 5532

seems im not far off you at all meatloaf ;)
