If those scores are true then im shocked.

My X1950 XTX Scored 20070 Maxed out in 3d03

and 6350 in 3d06

Why be shocked, Nvidia cards are known to get higher 3D Marks than ATi, but gamings where it counts.

I would say it is low and your system is not properly set up. Get tweaking dude you should at least hit 8k if not more on 06.

Doesn't seem too long ago that GPU phase cooling was needed to get this kind of score. Seems high to me, but maybe mine's NOT AS GOOD AS IT COULD BE? best i can get with the rig in my sig is 24000, i had a ati9800xt in the same rig before that with a score of 21100. :confused:

submit the score to the futuremark.com orb when you complete a test. look at your projects on the orb and give us the links to your score, like this:

Bet his 06 score is ran at 1280x800 or 960, I can easily get 7300 @ 1280x800 but only about 6.7k @ 1280x1024 which is Default for most people.

I get 11.6k on 3DMark05 here.

No? 8800GTS only gets just gets into the high 8000's.

everything was left at the default settings, i never changed anything, just installed 3Dmark 06, run the app and clicked start benchmark... isnt that how everyone does it on here? or do you have your own 'standard settings' across the forum? :confused:

Default settings on 06 are different for different people, some are set at 1280x800/960/1024 which makes a big difference in scores.

The real default is 1280x1024.
