3DMark2001 = 19615
3DMark2005 = 6206
3DMark2006 = 2002 (need to re test)

all the free versions, and default settings, I think they are low. im sure my Abit Av8 motherboard topped at 22K

I think my scores are low, escpecialy on the 3DMark2001

what do you lot think ?

current scores in my sig. The X2 may have helped me out, but even my Abit NF7 got me around 20k for 3dm01 so you may have an issue somewhere.

'01 is low, but 05 and 06 seem about spot on. That would suggest its a cpu/ram related problem.

have you checked everythign running at the correct speeds? cpu, fsb, ram is on the right divider, ram is running 1t ect?

I found an issue, so i removed the drivers for my gfx card and reinstalled the latest "official" ones 3.2 i think, and i noticed something that wasent click in the CCC is now ticked, which has helps

3DMark2001 = 19615
3DMark2005 = 6206
didnt bother with 06'

this new board is confusing the hell out of me, its an ULi chipset, asrock Dual

when i run CPU-z I noticed that on the memory page i think it was (im on the other computer now so cant check) it said something like 128MHz which i thought was rather low, i thought that was supposed to eual the FSB?

thanks guys :)

no it doesnt do that, it states the single clocks of the ram (ie 200mhz for ddr400/pc3200) and if that report is true it would indeed explain why your 01 is low.

we need to see a screenshot of cpu-z to see whats really going on:) The first thing you can do yourself is make sure nothing is set to 'auto', instead set it manually yourself - ie; ram=200mhz, fsb 200=mhz

Yeah I had lowish scores with that mobo until I change the ram from auto to 200MHz, its in the advanced cpu options IIRC

I havent got any software on the other computer , so im transfering editing etc, then will post pics of CPU-Z shortly,

but what the last 2 posts have said, it sounds like a bios thing

I dont know about the GFX in comparison with mine, but your venice is overclocked

right, try this :

see first post for pic :)

right I've checked and i did already changed my Mem speed to 200 MHz and not auto
everything is all on manual except mem timmings

Yea but i running a 7800GTX, u'll find if you compare the results more closely and breakdown the results into graphics tests and cpu tests, the difference will be in the graphics card

ShiWarrior, also remember that the X800 series cards do not support SM3.0 and HDR (which the Geforce 7 does) hence your 3DMark06 score is seriously limited.

oh right, didn't know that, don't know what they are :)
Thanks mate

My god your ram is clocked low?? are you running a devider?

Also, you should be over clocking! my venice 3000 is running at 2.75GHZ! (from 1.8) try a mild overclock (say 2.2) and see how it runs... reduce the devider though. Its massive! it should say around 200MHZ
