I just ran 3dmark on my system. i know its pretty pants i got in the region of 1800 but got a new gfx card but not in yet and aparently my cpu is only runing 2.3 when it should be 2.4. but the only one it could campair it to was, 161634 3DMarks guys apparently running his intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8600 @ 3.33GHz @6140mhz whats he using to cool the thing liquid nitrogen o something,

What do you guys class as a decent score on this?
 
That would depend on what 3DMark version you're using. Also, what graphics card you have, what CPU amount of ram etc, etc.

Give us those details and we should be able to help you some more.
 
Using an old 7300le gfx, 2gb corsair budget £25.00 ram, Q6600 thats ment to sit on 2.4ghz stock but will only sit just above 2.3ghz, 320gb maxtor sata hdd, pioneer dvd rw.

Then that score sounds about right to me. Your graphics card is holding that score back and that CPU. Get an ATi 4850 or 8800 Series card. That score will jump right up by at least 4 times. ;)

Also games will run a lot smoother! :cool:
 
I have a 8800gt that came today but isnt compatible with my mobo so waiting on it being delivered
 
Try using the compare tools on the Futuremark ORB site, its what they are there for :)
