Just invested in a GN245HQ monitor for all my 3D gaming needs, can't wait to fire up the PS3 and finally get stuck into Uncharted 3!
Also looking forward to WipEout and SSHD as well, I can imagine both of those will use 3D to really good effect.
Might have a look at Mirror's Edge in 3D on my PC too, but I think it'll run like a dog in 3D on my graphics card unfortunately.

I wonder if pro evo is in 3D on the PC?....

You should have spent the money on a proper HDTV with actual image quality.
Get a refund. It seems you missed the memo on 3DTVs already going out of fashion.

Have to agree with the above unfortunately, absolutely no way I'd consider 3D right now, the format is far from mature. I expect it to stick around in general due to the investment in it, but for me it's not worth looking at until true passive viewing without any glasses is mainstream.

Hope you enjoy it though :p

I actually quite like it. Been watching on a 50" Sony and it blows the pants off the 3D you see in the cinema. I dont find it to be gimmicky in the slightest.

Only warning I have for you though, is you'll find yourself not bothering with it after a while, just out of laziness.

I hook my PS3 up to a 3D projector and find the experience works really well. I really do not mind wearing glasses, in fact I kinda like em.

I enjoyed Killzone 3 in 3D, that was awesome. 3D BluRays are getting better, but there are only a handful of good movies worth watching. I only really do it when I have friends around, and it's epic to watch a 3D movie.

Pro's of 3d gaming - .

Cons of 3d gaming - it makes the game harder. It makes the game look worse (textures, resolution etc)

Unfortunately.

been using a 47" LG 3D TV for the past fortnight and its amazing. a few of the games i've tried so far.

PS3
Super Stardust HD is a gem of a game in 3D.
Uncharted 3, i'm not overly impressed with so far. but that's a problem with me not really liking the game and not the 3D.
Wipeout, like UC3 is not something i'd shout about.

Xbox 360
Halo HD is very good.
Crysis 1 and 2 are also very good.
Air Conflicts, Capt America and Green lantern work well.

the 2D to 3D is highly impressive with Borderlands being a standout tittle.

there are quite a few other games like Batman, Killzone etc that i've yet to try, but i'm sure i'll get to try them and many more over the coming weeks.

be warned though, if your like me, you will spend an awful lot of time admiring/looking around the game worlds you are in over actually playing in them.

Hmmm might link my Ps3 up to my monitor and see how it looks, forgot you could do 3d on the Ps3.

Well after an outrageously protracted saga with play.com, which ended in me giving up getting it from them and getting it from somewhere else. I finally got my monitor last night and fired it up.
I love it, super stardust is wicked and wipeout is superb, although the colour scheme on the zone levels has some quite jarring crosstalk. That can't really be helped though considering 3d was retro fitted.
Next up will be Resistance 3, I also need to rebuy Killzone 3, and Uncharted 3 will be grabbed at the first opportunity.

As an aside, never ever buy hardware from play, their customer service is non existent, and after 8 phone calls, each of which took at least 10-20 mins on hold, nothing got resolved. Every one of those calls resulted in a promise of a call back, only once did they ever bother to fulfil that promise, and three of those calls were too managers.
Be warned!

3D has been around for ages, but its always been gimmicky and crap.

It will never become the standard in our lifetime, purely and simply because it doesn't work for everyone, my dad can't watch 3DTV, he puts the glasses on and within about 5 minutes he gets a massive headache and feels sick.

I'd rather see total immersion gaming where COD feels like you're on a paintball range

Maybe not, but there's no denying it really works with some games.
The problem comes when they shoehorn it on to some games for the sake of it.
