3D Pen for 8 year old

My 8 year old daughter is interested in a 3D pen for Christmas.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good one? Nothing crazy or fancy just something she can play around with. The popular kids toy shop has some but they don't look value for money there...bulky and a bit awkward and possibly locked to using proprietary filament.

I have a 3D printer myself (although not used for a very long time now) so have spools of 1.75mm filament and would be good if that is compatible.

I do not think these are worth the hassle. Cheap ones are pretty awful.

We have a couple at work for just filling in broken parts on our 3d prints, things go out to the factory and come back ni less than new condition.

They were just el cheapo ones from Aliexpress I think. I know this is something you will have considered already but the tip gets very hot so be wary of leaving her with it.

They use the same filament as our printers so all good there.

I'll try to find a make and link tomorrow, just about to head home now.
