Just thought I would post a quick thread - needed some brackets printed to mount wing mirrors on my Caterham. They have to survive the forces on the wing mirrors of driving up to 130mph or so (speed at the end of the long straight at Bedford, or Hanger Straight at silverstone) and the rattling you get when you bounce over curbs on the track, so I needed strong material for them.
Was recommedned 3dprintdirect.co.uk. They did a good job - met the service level I chose, prints were clean, tidy & accurate, and their carbon type material does the business.
Not cheap (£60 for them both) , but appreciate that I could have got them much cheaper if I opted for a lower service level . However I wanted them for a session at Donington so went for a 2 week service. Their online software was pretty easy to navigate - all in all I'd definitely use them again.
