Really nice prints but yeah joining them neatly might be tricky, I have a cheap 3d pen at work for joining broken parts, it works well but I don’t have to be neat.

What primer are people using?? I've been searching but can't really find a decent answer. And is it just acrylic paint and a brush?

I was just advised to use a plastic primer so just bought what was available. I should probably get a filler/sandable one too.

As for paint you should probably use the high quality modelling paint like Vallejo, Citadel, Army Painter etc. but as a beginner I just bought cheap multi pack of acrylic paint from Amazon and use brushes but it looks like an air brush gets the best results.

Still got the tank to print, but happy so far

This job would have been so easy if I had a large bed resin printer and still probably cheaper than the official endoskeleton bust. On my tiny resin printer and relatively small FDM one it's taken ages to get this far and now loads of work to join, fix and finish things. I'm too tight to just bin an almost complete failed print so when it was 95% done and went wrong I kept it & have employed Milliput. It sorta looks ok but close up there's loads of imperfections and there's only so much sanding I can be bothered to do. Anything I can't see I'm not bothering with sanding, plus I don't mind the layer lines on he base. Just hoping it'll look OK when I eventually use the chrome paint.
