Hi there.
If I go into the nVidia control panel, then into 3D settings, there's LOADS of settings I have NO clue about. Do people generally leave all of these on standard, or are there some well known adjustments which can help in image quality and or performance?
Just some examples... The control panel says if enabling AA, it's best to use the application's own AA settings rather than nVidia's. Is this ALWAYS the best option? There's tonnes of other settings, and I really don't understand any of them.
I downloaded RivaTuner the other day, and there's even MORE settings!!!
I'm sure I remember reading a review of COD WaW from a HardOCP, and they mentioned using a better AA setting than the standard x4 option you get in-game.
I've just gone back to using nTune, and doing a very simple OC on my bus and mem, taking it from 602 / 1107 to 704 / 1283 where it's quite happy. Everything in the 3D options is left on default!
