Hey all, have been working on a biped model for the past week, my first atempt being this:

I am now able to create much better models as seen below:

I was just wanting people to give me their opinions on it, and also wondered what the best way to construct the breast would be?

Thanks!

Try asking on a different site :)

The buttocks look a bit strange, and not to sure about the pole in your chest area... but I wouldn't know how to fix it :|

Looking very good dude. I've attempted the whole modeling thing several times but to no avail. It's definitely a lot harder than it looks. 3DSM just baffles me.

Currently trying out Zbrush, which is suppost to be brilliant for sculpting etc.

Thanks :) It is quite hard work, and I have managed to reduce the use of polys quite a lot over the past week, which is good, just keep trying with 3D Max, doing tutorials etc is a good way to learn the functions and such :)

hi bud, i'm new to character modelling myself. the way i've made breasts is as follows:

- delete polygons around breast area (probably 4 on yours)
- create a sphere. change the segments to a value matching the vertices of the hole in the breast area
- increase the hemisphere value of the sphere so that it is slightly more than half (basic breast shape)
- convert it to an editable mesh and attach the body to breast.
- weld relevant vertex from sphere to that of the chest vertex.

then edit as you wish!

personally i'd use snap tool before welding to make life a bit easier!
