3d Surround vision tri-sli

Hi, im going to be buying 3 120hz monitors for some 3d surround and will probably add 3d in there aswell. I was also going to buy another gtx480 for tri-sli. Ive been seeings a lot of problems where tri-sli was performing worse than dual 480s. Have they fixed this yet and will i see a difference in 3 cards instead of 2.

From the latest driver release notes

"Multi-GPU Issues
 [SLI], 3D Vision: 3‐way SLI is slower than 2‐way SLI in 3D Vision mode."

So doesn't look like its fixed in general
