Hi guys, recently got my hands in a free CubeX. I know these things are discontinued and no longer supported.

But would anyone have software to import
.stl files and converting them into .cubify files? The Cubex can only print front a .cubify file.

I have read they will read stl if there was an accompanying bfb on version 1.07 (which is what mine is currently on). But this seems pretty confusing as I'm brand new to 3d printing.

Amazing, thanks Chaos!

I can confirm S3D does output a .bfb file BUT i would suggest you keep looking. S3D is $150 and hasn't been updated in years despite them continuing to suggest it's coming soon.

The blog post above also suggests that KISSlicer outputs the file format you need and while the free version is old for a new user to 3d printing it would be a better option and they have a more up to date version for a fee.

Just my view.

That's fair enough. I did more digging into the matter and found a forum where all the CubeX software is archived. But, my machine is pretty old. Might be worth getting rid of it or sell it for parts.
