Just got my 3d set up which i find amazing. However, I didnt really see its full potential until late yesterday when i managed to find work out how to use the nvidia 3d vision video player and photo viewer (had to disable 2nd display to get photos working).

I came across a few sites later in the evening which really showed the full WOW factor of 3d. I will upload links later if allowed. I was wondering if fellow 3d users would help to create a one-stop resource of useful links for the following:

3D Photos

3D Movies, Clips, Samples

3D Games

Other usefull 3D Apps misc

I am sure this will be extremely useful to other member like myself who are new into 3d tech and are trying to squeeze as much out of 3d as possible.

regards,

Nice, I was looking at an LG 3D monitor, have you done much 3D gaming on it? If so do you think its worth the extra money?

i've done a bit mate. test drive unlimited 2 is mind blowing, battlefield bc2 is good too, as it mass effect 2. fifa 11 is also very good.

i was blown away even further when i worked out how to use nvidia 3d video player with some 3d samples. omg, flowers popping out of the screen and dirt that you could believe you could reach in and touch. spiders eating away etc as if actually going on inside monitor.

people have different opinions mate - some rate 3d some would prefer standard display but using IPS panel monitor, my opinion is that 3d is definately worth every penny. amazing.

i hope you give-in and buy, i hope you then enjoy as much as i am. dont forget you also need the nvidia 3d kit and a nvidia graphics card i believe unless there is a way around this.

Having played multiple games end-to-end in stereo 3D (and some of them having already experienced them end-to-end in plain 3d before hand), I'm quite happy to say this is no gimmick for me, this is a keeper until the 'next gen' shows up.

For me it was well worth it. I was held back because of the specific hardware I wanted (27" monitors etc.) or else I would have taken the plunge a long time ago.

I don't have the craziest spec or budget but it is probably in the higher end of consumerism, so the extra cost to me is an area I might be less concerned about than some others who've tried it and decided it wasn't worth it for them.

I can also understand where some people who've spent a significant amount want it to work more simply out of the box. I haven't been excessively fiddly with my setup, but I have noticed in more than one case being more willing to find that sweetspot setting to get the system to run as it should, than others who have been put off that it wasn't just setup that way for them from the start given the amount it cost.

I've been playing The Witcher 2 in 3D vision and it looks utterly amazing, i've had the 3D setup since december and i'm still impressed with what it offers.

Hey guys,

Another 3D fan here, I was taking by the 3D viewer with the demo pic once it's all set up and working it's awesome but I must admit it's a lot more fun playing the old games in 3D like Titan Quest it feels like a whole new game, I just brought Witcher 2 so looking forward to playing that tonight,
