Hey guys,

I've had my LG W2363D monitor for years now and never actually used or tried the 3D it is capable of.

I noticed a second hand shop had a pair of Panasonic 3D glasses (TY-EW3D3ME) so picked them up.

Now as im stupid and usually buy things without doing researching things first,I assumed the monitor had the IR receiver built in and all i needed was the glasses. :o

Will one of those cheap IR Infrared Remote Control Receiver Extender Repeater Emitter USB from the well known auction site do the job or should i return the glasses.

Will teach me to do more research. :p

Off the top of my head I think that monitor only really works with the nVidia 3D glasses - personally would say don't waste your time on it - mine have had about 40 minutes use total (from me) since I bought them and most people I've lent them to haven't gone on to buy a set.

Had that monitor as well and you need the full 3d vision kit to view 3d movies , games etc. I have the kit sat on my shelf at the moment because I couldnt be arsed to sell them yet.

Just curious how is the 3D on this monitor?..would you say its decent?

I know 3D had not come out long when this monitor was released,So most likely early 3D not anywhere near as good as new models?

I have that monitor and 3D performance is not bad, although it must be borne in mind that all 3D monitors have ghosting/crosstalk issues and this LG does have a certain amount of crosstalk.
