3DMark 05/06 not working

Hi all,

I just received my new Radeon 3850 so I thought I would benchmark the card just to give me an idea of how well it does.

However upon opening both 3Dmark 05 and 06 they just hang with their initial splash screen. I have to ctrl+alt+delete to close them.

I have also tried uninstalling and re-installing including downloading a new version of 06 all to the same result.

I am running the cat 7.11 drivers with the crysis hotfix for reference.

Is anyone else having this problem or has had it in the past. Its quite annoying. All the games I have run ok?!

Yep, it's a known problem, open C > windows > system32 > futuremark > MSC > you will see the dll files for futuremark, just rename them and it will run.

Its interesting however that I have never had this issue before.
