3Dmark 06 score of 965- WTF?

This evening I've installed 3d mark 06 (version 1.1.0) and ran the default test and only scored 965! Take a look at my sig, now I know the card isn't cutting edge but still I thought the score would be higher than that. Any help on what's gone wrong would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check AA/AF settings, clockspeeds and make sure the PCI-E link isn't running at 1x.

Also make sure you're using recent drivers, not ones from the manufacturer CD etc.

id say have you installed drivers which are update from the nvidia website. if your using the bog standard windows vga drivers then .... well im not suprised.

Second poster, you're wrong on both counts. I'm running latest drivers available on Nvidia's site.

okay. well just incase you dont know. download GPUZ . run it and it should say if its running pcie 16x or what have you.

Is it over heating and throttling ? all the power connections in which may also cause it to throttle ?
