3dmark 06 wont run anymore

Experienced a couple of graphical anomalies last night whilst playing Dark Messiah. I figured the 7900GT was on it's way out so I thought I'd load up Deep Freeze and see how it coped

Damn thing won't run anymore though. It gets as far as the splash screen where it says it's gonna inspect my hardware, I hear a couple of noises from the floppy drive as though it's doing it's inspection but then it just hangs.
Ok so I unistalled it & reinstalled it but it's still not playing.

Any ideas anyone?

Try looking in Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer then under System and/or Application errors.

I get this problem too so I've disabled the system scan that 06 performs,to do this right click your 3DMark 06 desktop icon go to properties/shortcut tab and in the target field add "-nosysteminfo" to the end of the path.The revised path should look as below.

"C:\Program Files\Futuremark\3DMark06\3DMark06.exe" "-nosysteminfo"
