3Dmark hangs with 4850

I have a nicenew ATI 4850 just put it in after using drivercleaner to remove nvidia drivers, installed cat 8.7s for vista 32.

When I try to run 3dmark06 or 05 it hangs and I get a not responding message. It ran fine with the 7600GT before. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3dmarks but still hangs.

Am I missing something? Any ideas?
