3DMark06 and 3850, doesn't work?

For some reason 3DMark fails to load with my new 'stop gap until the 3870 arrives' 3850... just sits at the 3DMark splash screen.

It ran yesterday with the 8800GTS no probs. I used three different driver cleaners in safe mode to clear out any remnants of nVidia.


Any ideas? :confused:
 
You have to rename a .DLL file for it to run on the 2900/3850/3870 cards.

Rename the file Direcpll.dll thats in windows/system32/futuremark/MSC and it should work, or you can just delete it as well. :)

Anyone know why my Mark06 always crashes at the CPU test? Ive got my CPU clocked to 2.9GHz but is perfectly stable when playing games and other such things...confused...Its nice and cool btw.
