Hey guys, I am getting a black flicker during the canyone flight scene in 3DMArk06. I'm guessing it's something to do with either SPP<>MCP or PCIe frequencies. I've tried having a search in google, but still none the wiser.

I've overclocked my rig to 1600 fsb from 1066 stock.
PCIe is 100 and SPP<>MCP is set to 200. I've tried increasing PCIE t o105 and doesn't affect it, however, increasing SPP<>MCP to 201.5 does change the flicker a bit, instead of a double black flicker it's just one flicker.

Specs are as sig. Cheers.

I have the same issue. Always in the same spot as the giant serpant flies over the airboat. No idea what triggers it, ive tried all sorts. Doesnt do it on my1950pro cards, only my current 3870 and on 3 different mobo chipsets. (intel/ati/uli).

Also when watching demo mode, the credits havent shown in at least the last 10 catalyst versions.

Prolly just a bug in 3D Marks 06... if furmarks extreme burn test runs ok then you prolly have nothing to worry about.

I am sorry guys. Looks like I have just solved my own problem:o.

To get rid of it, I used:
PCIE1+2: 105
PCIE3: 105

SPP<>MCP: AUTO

Only this config worked. SPP<>MCP on 200mhz resulted in a different flicker. But AUTO with 101 PCIE also results in a flicker. Seems like it'll be ok now. I hope...

True, but my windows logon screen was half black for a split second before drawing the full bacground. If you know what I mean. So I knew something wasn't quite right.
