Guys this is all i get from my system which seems very low, is this about right for a x1950xt pci-e?

Would this double if i get another or should i sell it and get a 8800?

My system is all at stock, i know the memory isn't brilliant but I haven't the budget for more yet and i'm sure this wouldn't make a great difference would it?

I would say it's is just about right for a stock system although you could probably push it a little higher by optimising bios settings, tweaking windows etc if you haven't already done so.

As for going crossfire or 8800, definitely an 8800. You would get similiar or better performance, better image quality and dx10 compatibility for less money (after selling off the x1950).

You seriously gona sell it just because it only gets about 6k in 06. man you want to play some games, a 3D Mark score is no indication of how well it handles games, your x1950 XT will cut through games perfectly fine for a good while yet, its a perfectly good card, you would be wasting your money on a GTS as it will be pretty bottlenecked on your P4, so wont get much higher scores, so save your money on the GTS as you'll only be getting shot of that once you see what that scores.

If you want a big 06 score, Conroe and 2x GTX's in SLi is what you want, or wait and see what the new R600's get in it in Crossfire, just dont waste your money on single cards with a P4 as the scores wont be that great and you'll be flogging em all the time, so if its a big score you want your gona have to go the whole hog and do a complete upgrade. :D
