3DMark06 -OpenAL32.dll missing even after installing it

Hello there, well I'm trying to get 3dmark to install and I had an older version on which did work. After reinstalling it no longer works and claims I am missing the openal32.dll file.

Now during install you can clearly see it install it, further more downloading it from creative's website also doesn't work.

Something else is at work here, but what is it?

Maybe it's somehow installed but not registered?

Try: REGSVR32 C:\Windows\System32\openal32.dll

That, or maybe you've just got a corrupt dll.

I remember having this. I just found the file in the folder for one of my games and copied it to the 3DMark folder. Do a search of your games folder and see if you have a copy of it.
