3dmark06 performance

Does a score of 2369 sound particularly poor or about average for the following system spec?

Athlon 64 3500+
1 gig ram
Geforce 6800gt 256meg

CPU Score was only 860 - watching the demo was particularly painful for that bit! HDR was 914 and SM2.0 score was 1016.

Im not sure what my memory timings are, or if they're any good, but I can't help but feel that I could squeeze a little bit more out of my system...

I got ~1900 with this:

3000+ at 2.4Ghz
1gb XMS pro at 3,3,3,6 1T
6800Gt at 410/600

and ~5200 with

3000+ at 2.6Ghz
1gb XMS pro at 2.5,2,3,6 1T (~237Mhz)
7900Gt at 710/1100

(the later is watercoled ofc )


so, your scores are a little low.. but a bit of tweaking will fix that

3D'06 is dire on non dua-core PC's though

Core Clock 351 MHz

i think yours looks fine
