3DMark06 score low?

With my 3870. Using 8.1 Drivers.

With 1 3870 I get around 13k and with 2 I get around 17-18k with my Q6600 at 3.4ghz.

But at the moment Im having problems with clocking the Power Colour 3870 XT's

It automatically jumps back up to 780 when i run a 3d application.

The score is fine, it will be the CPU holding you back I imagine.

You are CPU bound (As in being at 2.4Ghz and not about you having 4 cores, overclock and see that score rise). Even at 2.8Ghz on my old X2 3800 I was held back. If you game at a higher resolution than 1280x1024 then your CPU becomes less of the workforce inside your machine when gaming and then the GPU takes over.

Yeah it was holding me back!!!!

Juts oced to 3Ghz with a 330FSB and got 12290!!!!!

Temps don't go over 38c so all good.

Look ok?
