3Ds or 2DS?

Hey folks. I'm in the market for my first Nintendo console since 1994. I have a little old Korean handheld thing (GP2X) I use for emulating 8 and 16 bit consoles but it has its limits and lately it's been bumming me out that there's a whole generation of great games I've not played on the DS. So anyway, I'm weighing up whether to get the 3DS or save a little cash and get the 2DS. Are there enough games on the 3Ds to warrant getting that over the other?

And one other thing - bigger screens are better, right?

Cheers guys. Looks like I'll get the newest one then! Kind of a jerk move by Nintendo to sort of make their older 3DS obsolete though, eh. Surely developers can find a way to make their games work without the extra nub thing?
